econLOG is proud to be working in partnership with Birmingham City Council on the ground-breaking Brighter Futures trasnformation programme.

The approach championed by the Children, Young People & Families Directorate is unique, in that transformation is framed against impact on outcomes and a holistic understanding of need. An extensive epidemiological analysis (covering more than 26,000 chldren and young people annually) has been matched with demographics and service allocation and take-up data, in order to form a highly-intelligent model for mapping need against service provision.

The development of an evidence-based service portfolio that is undepinned by robust cost/benefit analysis is complemented by a well-structured and comprehensive transformation methodology, keeping the needs of users at the forefront of all activity.

The local authority and it's partners are being visionary, but have also ensured strategic direction and ambition are translated to controlled activity that is continuously evaluated for effectiveness and impact on outomes for users.
